Charita (char-i-tuh)
Charita is originally from Lititz, Pennsylvania. She spent some time living in Los Angeles, California, which is when she found her connection and deep love of abstract painting. Her first medium was acrylic paint on photo paper. After leaving Los Angeles, she moved to Lancaster City, Pennsylvania, where she continued to paint and show her artwork in cafés and restaurants. She now lives in Downingtown, Pennsylvania with her husband and two sons, serves as VP of events at her son's school, studies web development at Delaware County Community College, and is launching an Etsy site for her art and handcrafted items.
She Sells Sanctuary
This painting was inspired by a song of the same name and holds a special place in the artist's heart. It was her first work created almost entirely in a single color-a breakthrough moment where emotion and completeness emerged without the need for vibrant hues.
Her secret....Beneath the calm gray surface lie countless layers of color: the hidden emotions that shaped her world, tucked gently beneath the cozy blanket of serenity.
